- Stop using products like Retin-A, Renova, and Tazorac one week before and after your session.
- Ensure your skin is clean and devoid of lotions, makeup, and sunscreen on treatment day.
- Communicate any tattooing near the treatment area, as these must be avoided.
- Update us on any health or medical history changes.
- Avoid waxing and chemical depilatories two weeks before and after your session.
- Hold off on anti-inflammatory or blood-thinning medications as advised, barring medical directives.
- Reschedule if you're unwell or exhibit any infection signs in the treatment area.
- Limit vigorous exercise and alcohol consumption 24 hours prior to reduce bruising risks.

- Sun protection is crucial; avoid sun exposure initially as sunscreen application is postponed until 24 hours after treatment. Minimise sun exposure for the following 72 hours to prevent pigmentation issues.
- Post-treatment, your skin will be sensitive. Steer clear of active ingredients for five days to avoid irritation.
- Delay makeup application and activities inducing sweat for 24 hours to allow for healing and reduce infection risks.
- Postpone any other skin treatments, injections, or cosmetic procedures two weeks around your microneedling session for optimal outcomes and reduced complications.
